Each suite is decorated to provide sumptuous comfort and contains original potraits and furniture which have been in the

family for generations. The Palace has been restored to its pristine glory, offering you the experience originally reserved for Royalty.

The latest addition to the Fateh Prakash Palace is the Gallery Restaurant which is situated in an unrivalled location overlooking Lake Pichola. This 40 cover restaurant serves an exclusive continental menu and has a wide choice of wines. English Cream Teas are also served here every afternoon, including different varieties of tea and traditional home made scones and biscuits. This venue is the most beautiful place for a meal in Udaipur whether it is for an intimate dinner or for a large gathering or simply for a break from sight seeing in the afternoons.

While staying at Fateh Prakash Palace Hotel you will notice the splendour of the Durbar Hall whose walls are covered with the potraits of the Maharanas of the Mewar Dynasty. A visit to the Crystal Gallery which overlooks this magnificent Hall is also highly desirable.

The foundation stone of the DURBAR HALL was laid by Lord Minto, the then Viceroy of India, in 1909. In fact, the Hall was originally called the Minto Hall in his honor. The size and splendour of this hall need to be seen to be believed.

At the Durbar Hall Banquet Room you can have a conference, meeting or simply a banquet. The venue of State banquets, Official functions, and formal Durbars at the turn of the century, now welcomes you to enjoy the same facilities in a historical and a professional atmosphere. Work and enjoy yourself in the comfort and leave the rest to us.
